House in a quiet agricultural village in the centre of northern Extremadura, in the area comprising the Alagón valley, la Via de la Plata and the Cañada Real Soriana. 30 minutes drive from: El Valle del Jerte, La Vera, Monfragüe Natural Park, the Roman city of Cáparra, Sierra de Gata, La Comarca de las Hurdes and Cáceres.

Plasencia, Coria and Montehermoso are all a short drive away.

The Abuela Maxi "casa rural" is covers 160 m2, over 2 storeys, with a capacity of up to 12 people. On the ground floor is a large living and dining room containing a fireplace and a well, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms, (one single and one double), with a shared bathroom. On the first floor there are 4 more bedrooms, 3 doubles (2 with ensuite bathrooms) and one single. House is decorated with traditional objects from the village and surrounding areas.

Our house is simple and welcoming.

The first floor is available for rent separately as an apartment for up to 5 people.
